Abstaining:
Abstaining is the first step to controlling your anger; as a rageaholic our intentions are good, we still can not seem to
make our resolutions work.  By abstaining from the 15 behaviors you will be one step closer to relearning your ABC.

You will be asked to try your hardest to refrain from all of the 15 behaviors for 90 days.  After a short time, you will start
to notice that many of these behaviors will be easier to see in other people.  It will be like a breathe of fresh air to know
that you are no longer using these behaviors in your life.  Hopefully after 90 days you can continue to stop these
behaviors.  Stopping these behaviors are key to controlling your anger indifaintly, but this is only the first step.

Abstaining from the expression of anger might seem crazy at first.  Specially with so many old studies showing that you
should express yourself,  get the anger out, and not to keep the anger bottled up.  Recent studies have shown that
letting your anger out only creates more anger, continuing a never ending cycle.  The approach of letting out your
anger and expressing yourself simple does not work.   If you are here reading this you can see this already in your
own life.  There is no proof that letting your anger out helps you control your anger.

Studies find by abstaining from anger is the best solution.  Now that does not mean you can never let it out, you just
can never let it out while you are angry.  You will have to re-work the way you handle problems, so that your anger
does not come out and you explode in a rage.
